The Atlantic Monthly Unbound
Print's great, but we're partial to the web -- and the human voice. If
you like your poetry straight from the poet's mouth, don't miss An Audible Anthology: Real Audio recordings of Atlantic authors reading their work. Also good: the poetry section and archive, as well as Post and Riposte, a reader's forum (registration required). The Atlantic's been online since 1993.
The Cortland Review
A rich resource for news, poetry and links. Audio too -- but don't
snooze or you lose (archives stay online for three months only). Check
the Authors page to see what's current. The interesting Favorite Poems Project features poets reading other's poems (Billy Collins reads a poem by John Clare). (Also see Robert Pinsky's related project, below).
Doubletake Magazine
Exciting writing and beautiful photography and compelling social issues. What a fine magazine.
Magma Poetry and Reviews
An English charmer, Magma finds and publishes new poetry from around the world. Unique feature: the Magmagram: an internet greeting card containing your message and a Magma poem.
National Public Radio Billy has been aired several times on NPR, including an interview with Terry Gross on Fresh Air and an appearance on Garrison Keillor's Prairie Home Companion.
Poets and Writers
